    About Me

    Dr. Joseph Newton is an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon with Sentara Mid-Atlantic Cardiothoracic Surgeons in Norfolk and Williamsburg. He is a founding member of the Sentara Heart Valve Center who helped introduce first-generation transcatheter therapies to this community. He performs a wide range of complex cardiac procedures including mitral valve surgery, aortic surgery, as well as open atrial fibrillation cases.
