The Sentara Wound Healing Center at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center provides comprehensive wound healing treatments to patients suffering from non-healing or chronic wounds. Diseases such as diabetes or vascular problems, medications, infections and poor nutrition can prevent a wound from fully healing. Our specialists work with you and your doctor to assess your symptoms, determine the underlying cause of your non-healing wound and create a custom treatment plan to stimulate healing.
