Digestive Diseases and Disorders (Endoscopy)
The Endoscopy Unit provides outpatient gastrointestinal procedures in a setting that promotes wellness. Licensed nurses providing care for preparation, procedural, and recovery experiences staff this unit. Typical procedures include:
- EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy)
- Esophageal Dilation
- Colonoscopy
- Polypectomy
- Biopsy
Patients have private rooms with a bathroom. Family members are encouraged to wait either in the patient’s room or the spacious waiting area a relaxing atmosphere with computers, Internet access and children's play area.
