    Dr. Galbreath joined Sentara Neurology Specialists in 2009 after completing his Neuromuscular Medicine fellowship at Duke University. He is a Board-Certified neurologist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of many nerve and muscle diseases such as ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), myasthenia gravis, peripheral neuropathies,muscular dystrophies and other genetic and acquired muscle diseases.

    Dr. Galbreath is the Clinical Director of the Sentara Multi-disciplinary ALS Clinic. He also serves as an EMG consultant to medical providers in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas. When Dr. Galbreath is not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his familyand following his beloved Detroit Tigers.
